NFPA 10: Standard for Portable Fire Extinguishers provides requirements to ensure that portable fire extinguishers will function as intended as needed. The requirements include:

• Annual onsite inspection of each unit to assure the unit is fully charged, accessible, undamaged and all functional components are unimpeded 
• 6 year discharge and recharge of each unit
• 12 year discharge, pressure test and recertification of the cylinder and recharge

Easton Electronics is a full service provider of portable fire extinguisher services providing all services necessary to assure compliance with NFPA 10 including inspection, testing, recharging and recertification. All inspection, testing, repair and recertifcation services are performed by our fully qualified and licensed extinguisher technicians. Our in-house, fully licensed repair, recharging and recertification facilty utilizes the latest and most-advanced computer based testing, recharging and recertification equipment available assuring each device is serviced precisely to applicable NFPA 10 standards. Our technicians start by performing an on-site inventory of your current equipment recording all critical data of each unit into our proprietary software based inspection system including make, model, size, date of manufacture, last inspection and last certification dates.  Each unit is then barcoded to assure accurate tracking and fully inspected to assure it meets applicable NFPA 10 standards. Any units that require repairs, recharging or recertification are removed and brought to our facility for servicing. Removed units are immediately replaced by temporary units on-site as needed to assure adequate protection is still available while removed units are being serviced off-site at our facility.
